Two Rivers Century

Location: Splash Valley Aquatic Park
Time: 8:00 am
Early Registration Fee: $20 if received by June 15
Fee: $30 if received after June 15 $5 children 5 and under
Deadline: August 4th will be the last day to register online or in person for the bike race. After August 4th only on site registrations will be accepted.

The Kankakee Valley Park District is hosting the inaugural Two Rivers Century, a one day bike ridethrough historic Kankakee County along the scenic Kankakee and Iroquois Rivers. Riders will enjoy several sites in addition to the two rivers, including downtown Kankakee, Kankakee Community College, The Shapiro Clock Tower, two Frank Lloyd Wright homes, Island Park inMomence, and much more! Click on brochure for full details. The ride starts and ends at Splash Valley Aquatic Park. Riders and family members of riders will all recieve special discounts on admission for that day. Riders-$3.00 Family Members-$5.00

Power Boat Nationals on the Kankakee River

Date: September 4th-September 6th
Location: River Road Park
Fee: $15.00 per vehicle

The Power Boat Nationals are held every year along the Kankakee River over Labor Day weekend. The Kankakee Valley Park District is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of this high-speed event. In addition to boat races, this event features live music, a full service carnival, beer tent, food vendors, and craft fair. For anyone interested in participating as a vendor/crafter, applications are available now.
